The girls (Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz, and Lucy Liu) are back in this second film inspired by the popular ''70s TV show. Yes, Charlie's Angels. This time the ladies investigate the theft of a database that lists people in the witness protection program, after five of those people turn up dead. Their old enemy, the Thin Man (Crispin Glover), is in the mix, as are new adversaries. Expect plenty more martial arts, spy games, and masterful disguises from the gritty gals, but don''t look for Bill Murray, who passed on the sequel. Bernie Mac (as the new Bosley) and Demi Moore (as an ex-Angel-turned-villain), however, are on board. Plus, look for cameos by Bruce Willis, the Olsen twins, and original TV Angel Jaclyn Smith. |
